We serve more than 700 Durham residents each year through:
Adult ESOL Classes
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes focus on the reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills that adult English language learners need to communicate effectively. Learn more.
College & Career Readiness
Adult and teen learners attend workshops and receive counseling to prepare for college, jobs, and careers. Learn more.
Adult Literacy & GED Tutoring
Tutors work one-on-one with adult students who want to improve their reading and writing skills or prepare for high school equivalency tests such as the GED. Learn more.
Threshold-DLC Partnership
A DLC instructor teaches at Threshold Clubhouse for adults living with mental illness.
Youth High School Equivalency
Youth ages 16 to 24 prepare for high school equivalency exams in one-on-one tutoring and classroom environments. Learn more.
