LEVEL 1-2
OBJECTIVES
Numbers
• Identify numbers 1-60
The Calendar
• Days of the week
• Learn the days of the week
• Identify months, dates, year
• Recite and copy months of the year
• List months and days of week in order
• Differentiate between weekend and weekday
• Note dates on a calendar
• Identify and write #s 1-31
• Identify date in numbers and words (eg. 01/12/02 or January 12th, 2002)
Birthdays
• Identify and write one’s birth date
• Identify classmate’s birthdays
Holidays (optional)
• Identify major holidays, what month they fall in
• Learn expressions/greetings used with various holidays
Seasons
• Identify seasons
• List 4 seasons and which months fall under each
• Identify seasonal activities
Weather
• Identify weather vocabulary
• Use weather vocabulary to describe
• Read temperature on a Fahrenheit thermometer.
