TCA (Teen Career Academy)

Who: Teen students who are not enrolled in high school and are seeking their GED.
What: Offering individual and group learning environments for students at different reading, writing, and math levels.
When: Mondays - Thursdays 9:00 am - 2:30 pm
Minimum commitment: one hour per week.
Where: John Avery Boys and Girls Club
How: Extensive training is ongoing and on-site as you tutor because you will work closely with the coordinator and teachers in the program.
More Info:
- There is also a need for a math tutor for a few students.
- TCA sometimes goes on field trips on Fridays. There is a need for extra adults to attend field trips.
