Therese’s new novel, A Well-Behaved Woman, about Alva Vanderbilt and her illustrious family during Gilded-Age New York, publishes just two days before the event on October 16 and has been hailed as one of the “Most Anticipated Books of Fall 2018” by Publishers Weekly.

The event will take place in the incredible Gothic Reading Room in the Rubenstein Rare Book and Manuscript Library on Duke’s Campus in Durham.

  • VIP Reception is at 5:30 p.m. on October 18th: $100 ticket price for VIP reception (includes copy of book)

  • Main Reading Event is at 7:00 p.m. following the VIP reception: $30 ticket price (books available for purchase onsite)
